Pedestals
Table pedestals
The overall stability of the table depends on the arrangement of the legs. To keep the area for seating as large as possible, the legs are situated at the very edge of the table in the corners. A more comfortable dining experience is created by placing two legs, usually solid, in the middle of the table. A similar solution can be applied to round or oval tables, where there is one dominant leg, usually consisting of a base, leg and cross.
Design of pedestals
The vast majority of tabletops are in the same design as the legs. This is true for tables made of solid wood, veneer, varnish or thermo foil. It the table has a metal pedestal, the design of the tabletop will match the kitchen cupboards or living room furniture.
